Long time no post! Sorry 'bout that. :) Anyways, over spring break I had the amazing opportunity to go to Arizona! Whenever my person goes on trips she brings one of us, and since I've never traveled, it was my turn. :)
Now I must warn you--picture heavy post.
The trip to Arizona was l-o-n-g; a half an hour drive to the airport, then a four hour airplane ride, and then a two hour drive to Sedona, our first stop.
But the view from our hotel was so worth it!
The next day I headed down to the pool.
It was crazy because while we were swimming we were surrounded by all these beautiful red rocks!
The water was a nice, refreshing break from the hot sun.
Once it grew dark I kicked on my flip-flops and walked back.
The next day I headed out for a hike! Here I am posing next to a bunch of cactuses.
Check out this rock formation! Don't they kind of look like faces?
While I was walking I spotted this mule deer on the path! Isn't he cute? I just love his big ears. :)
I explored by a little bridge--I was able to go down and walk under it 'cause the water is all dried out.
After a bit more hiking I sat in a little tree to rest…
Here I am scaling the cliff!
Hope you enjoyed and stay tuned for part two!
Looks like fun! I live in AZ, so that's pretty cool that you came here :)
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome!
DeleteI'd like to live in Arizona, but I'm not sure if I could deal with the heat--I like cold winters and warm summers. :)
Lovely pictures! :) The pool looks especially nice.
