< Here Comes the Sun >

"Here Comes the Sun"

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun,
doo dee doo doo
Here comes the sun
And I say it's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun,
doo dee doo doo
Here comes the sun
And I say it's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
It's all right, it's all right

(song: "Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles. Pictures taken with my friend Emily. The doggie is my person's dog. ^_^)

This photo-shoot is dedicated to spring, who should be on it's way. May the sun shine wherever you are. <3

Drawings in the Park

Hey guys, Bella here! Yesterday I took a little walk to the park to do a bit of sketching in my notebook and that funny little cat Snowball decided to follow me. :) So I let her tag along and we had a pretty good time!

It was actually a little windy and chilly, and I regretted not bringing a sweater, but at least it was warmer than it had been earlier this april!

Do you like my new shoes? :)

We wandered a bit further along the park to find the perfect spot to draw.

It was like Snowball knew exactly where I should draw--she found this great rock where I got a full view of the park.

She also beat me to it. xD

Check out my art supplies!

I opened my notebook and started drawing, however I was a bit stumped on where to start. Just then Snowball started purring, and I knew she would be the purrfect subject. (Get it?)

Here's the finished drawing. It was a little hard to draw snowball, since she kept on moving, but I finally got her to be still. :)

Penny's Trip to Arizona--Part One

Long time no post! Sorry 'bout that. :) Anyways, over spring break I had the amazing opportunity to go to Arizona! Whenever my person goes on trips she brings one of us, and since I've never traveled, it was my turn. :)

Now I must warn you--picture heavy post.

The trip to Arizona was l-o-n-g; a half an hour drive to the airport, then a four hour airplane ride, and then a two hour drive to Sedona, our first stop.

But the view from our hotel was so worth it!

The next day I headed down to the pool.

It was crazy because while we were swimming we were surrounded by all these beautiful red rocks!

The water was a nice, refreshing break from the hot sun.

Once it grew dark I kicked on my flip-flops and walked back.

The next day I headed out for a hike! Here I am posing next to a bunch of cactuses.

Check out this rock formation! Don't they kind of look like faces?

While I was walking I spotted this mule deer on the path! Isn't he cute? I just love his big ears. :)

I explored by a little bridge--I was able to go down and walk under it 'cause the water is all dried out.

After a bit more hiking I sat in a little tree to rest…

Here I am scaling the cliff!

Hope you enjoyed and stay tuned for part two!
