SevenLittleDaisies Photography Challenge - round one

Hello everyone! I received two results for the SevenLittleDaisies Photography Challenge, and I'm really excited to share them with you. The theme for this round was "friendship".

First up, we have Allie D. from Spreading My Joy! If you haven't already, check out her blog here. 

Next we have Mira, from Days of Dollight! "One of the best things about friendship is the fact that your friends are always willing to listen to you! (Even when you jabber on and on and on…)" 

If you'd like to enter for round two, the theme is black and white. You must have a blog, youtube, google+, instagram, or any form of social media to enter, and you MUST send me your photo via email (sevenlittledaisiess@gmail.com). I will not post email addresses. Anyone can enter round two by October 25th.

A bit of filming...

Hi people! It's me, Lottie, with a very short post. Today our person filmed a stop motion with May and me pretty much all day, and I thought I'd share a sneak peek to you guys. It'll hopefully be up by tomorrow. 

As you can see this is a very time-consuming process...

Spring Snow

Kit here. First of all, we're really sorry for not posting much. We've just been really busy lately. Second, happy Saturday! Enjoy these pictures Caroline took of me at the park.

{ Kit's Poem }

Hello! This morning I was feeling kind of artsy, so I decided to write a poem. When I read it to Caroline she took me outside for some pictures. We hope you like it!

This poem is called: My Camera

I hide behind you, 

Day and night,

Letting you capture my life in frozen time. 

From years ago I can look back,

At each dream,

Each wish,

Each wanting,

Each smile,

And I remember.

I remember when I was scared of the dark,

And hid under the covers,

Until morning.

I remember when I waited up for what felt like forever,

On Christmas Eve,

Waiting,

Then falling asleep.

I remember the games of hide-and-go-seek,

Where every time I lost,

But always loved to play. 

You tucked each moment away,

For me to look at in time,

So I'd remember how much fun,

And how many smiles,

And how much laughter,

Was recorded.

Maybe my life isn't all fun and games,

No one's perfect you know,

But this camera that I've had,

And these memories I've created,

Built me a life to love.
